Being an independent
home-visit midwife

Pregnancy, childbirth, and the arrival of a child mark a significant milestone in the lives of women, couples, and families.

Beyond the physical changes, this transition into parenthood can bring about new emotions, questions, and uncertainties, as well as the need to establish a new sense of balance.

I am deeply committed to supporting women and families throughout this journey.

For me, being a midwife goes far beyond providing medical care; it means being by your side to listen, inform, and help you gain confidence in your own abilities and in the choices regarding your health and that of your child.

My role is to provide support tailored to your needs and to create an environment of trust, allowing you to experience this period with peace of mind.

About me

Professional Background

I qualified as a midwife in Belgium and, during my studies, participated in humanitarian missions lasting several months in Morocco and Senegal.

These enriching experiences allowed me to develop my skills in diverse settings and through contact with various cultures and social backgrounds. Based in Switzerland since 2018, I have worked in hospital settings in Geneva, primarily in delivery and postpartum wards.

I have also designed and led prenatal preparation classes. In Switzerland, I obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) as a Clinical Educator and a Master’s degree in Health Sciences.

This additional training has strengthened my pedagogical and scientific expertise, enabling me to supervise student midwives during their clinical placements and contribute to teaching and knowledge sharing within the profession.

I regularly attend continuing education courses to keep my knowledge up to date and provide care based on the latest guidelines, particularly in the areas of obstetric emergencies, breastfeeding, and the introduction of solid foods for infants.
